Qvik - Free payment terms

When selecting the payment information, select the "Qvik - Free payment request" mode and enter your bank account number in the drop-down field. Based on the data provided, we will send a free payment request to the bank in two cases, which you can approve and pay the advance immediately. You can also settle the remaining balance upon arrival according to these conditions.
The qvik request (officially known as the payment request) is an instant payment solution that will continue to be legally free of charge for all retail customers in 2026.
The main features of the toll exemption in 2026:
- Exemption from transaction tax: Transfers initiated by individuals in response to a qvik request are exempt from the payment of the transaction tax.
- Free response: When you approve a payment request (e.g. an advance payment for a hotel reservation fee) in your mobile bank, the bank may not charge a fee for an instant transfer initiated from it.
- Merchant use: In stores (QR code, NFC or link qvik payment), payment is always free of charge for customers.
How does it work?
- The payee (who is waiting for the money) sends a payment request to the payer's mobile bank.
- The payer will be notified and approve the request within the app.
- The funds will reach the recipient within seconds.
To use the service, the mobile application of most Hungarian banks (e.g. OTP, K&H, MBH, Erste, Raiffeisen, Unicredit, Gránit Bank, CIB,) is required.
